How I Made My First Dollars Writing Articles
Nowadays everyone is concerned about their earnings and how to make ends meet. Therefore it seems that at present more than ever making money from home is an option worth considering.
Personally, I must admit that when I found myself in a tight spot, working from home was the answer to my financial problems. Earning an income from the comfort of my home, not only has it proven to be profitable but also as convenient as it can get. It was the answer needed to cover expenses, pay bills, mortgage among other things.
At first, I was a bit apprehensive. I had heard about online jobs, freelancing, out-sourcing and it all sounded too complicated. But it can’t get any easier. You do not necessarily need to be an expert for this type of work. Simply do a bit of research to see what is available, what jobs can be done from your living-room. You will be surprised, how simple it is. Give it a try with tasks requiring a short time for completion.
My opinion, article writing is the best choice to begin with. I did not need to invest any money, as it does not require any equipment, program installation etc. So, I made use of what I already had, my PC and basic writing skills that we all have picked up sometime during our schooling. Of course do not expect to earn a lot of money from start. You need to work -slowly but surely on your way up.
Firstly, I took on articles I was familiar with so that I would receive a positive feedback. The aim is to build a good reputation and gradually increase the amount of work and your earnings Looking for article writing jobs online you should look up sites such as Fiverr, oDesk, iwriter. There are lots of article writing job postings. As websites increase so does the demand for writing. The range of topics is huge. My advice is to give your best shot at what you know most and like as well… Enjoying what you write is an incentive that encourages you and helps you become more productive, thus more successful. Having good language skills and some typing experience will be useful.
Eventually, I earned more money from home than from my regular job. Although I had started to work on a part-time basis the more articles I wrote the better feedback I received so ended up doing it full-time. Finally, you enjoy being your own boss, setting your working schedule, working any time of the day or night, seven days a week. As a parent there is nothing more convenient than being home and looking after the kids too. Working from home saves you money; no more traveling expenses, commuting back and forth during rush hours, no more baby-sitting fees to pay. As a result, you find yourself earning more spending less, therefore ending up with more money in your pocket.
